As Vice-Minister at the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, Elijus Čivilis is responsible for the consolidation and optimised management of the national information resources infrastructure and the national tourism policy. Prior to becoming Vice-Minister, Elijus Čivilis held senior management positions in IBM units in Lithuania, Denmark and Ireland for nearly ten years; he also served Director of Alna Software, consultant on technology issues at Siemens Lithuania and IT Executive at Panama AMCHAM. From 2016 to 2018, he was an IBM Lithuania representative for public and financial sectors. Elijus Čivilis holds a MA degree in International Business Management from Warwick Business School of University of Warwick in the UK and a BA degree in Informatics from Vilnius University. Also, he holds a professional BA in Informatics from Vilnius Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences.
