Guido Lobrano is Vice President for Europe at ITI—The Information Technology Industry Council, the global voice of the tech sector. He leads ITI’s work on the European Union’s activities impacting technology and innovation.
His work has a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence, data governance, competition, and consumer issues. ITI advocates around the world for policies that advance innovation, open markets, and enable the transformational opportunities of digitalization.
Guido opened ITI’s first European office in Brussels, in 2017. Before joining ITI, he coordinated the work of the legal affairs, internal market and digital economy teams at BusinessEurope, where was heavily involved in the work around the 2015 Digital Single Market strategy.
Prior to his involvement in EU policy, Guido worked in law firms in the United States and in Europe, specializing in international and European law. He is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics, particularly technology and competition policy issues.
